Every year we welcome the holy month of Ramadan conjuring up fond memories and sentiments 
blended with spirituality 
Childhood memories embedded deep within our souls reignite as we welcome Hilal Ramadan bringing 
with it an abundance of blessings, joy of family and loved ones’ gatherings, and serenity of conversing 
with ALLAH in the Night Prayers 
From far away we see images of Arabian horses crossing the vast desert, and precious stones of vibrant 
colors recall the tales of olden times, all the way until we reach ancient Hijaz with its unique vernacular 
architecture and traditional Islamic motifs 
Arabic calligraphy stands out through its delicate charm and intricate geometrical designs within the 
folds of history books and convey the words of ALLAH inside the Quran 
Vision of profound Islamic symbols transcends our conscience to the holiest of all places on earth, 
Makkah and Al Madinah where worshipers call upon Allah by His beautiful names. 
Abaq Exhibition at Mono Gallery seeks to spread this aroma of spirituality in a distinctive 
contemporary manner featuring a renowned group of artists.
